Andy Weed for Mayor of Mission Hills
A Trusted Leader with Proven Experience and a Heart for Service
For more than 25 years, it has been my privilege to serve Mission Hills–as a neighbor, a volunteer, and a civic leader. I’ve worked alongside our neighbors to preserve the history and character of our community while keeping a thoughtful eye on our future. As the current President of the City Council and Former President of the Planning Commission and Homes Association President, I understand the workings of our city and the importance of listening to our residents.
Whether guiding the development of our Comprehensive Design Guidelines; collaborating on strategic planning, or leading discussion about the future of the newly acquired property adjacent to City Hall, my goal has always remained the same: to uphold the traditions of Mission Hills while embracing the opportunities that strengthen our city.
My service extends beyond our borders–from Truman Medical Center Board of Governors, to United Way Citizens Advisory Committee, to Village Church Food Pantry Board and much more–because strong communities are built on a foundation of giving back.
I have a strong working relationship with the current Mission Hills City Council as well as the support of the current Mayor and the two former Mayors. Their trust in my abilities reflects a shared confidence in my ability to serve with integrity, vision, and dedication.
As your next Mayor, I will bring experience leadership, deep community knowledge, and a collaborative approach to city governance. I am eager to continue to be a servant leader to this community with transparency and deep commitment to the values that make Mission Hills home.
